as of now the league games are still on for tonight - the rain is fairly light and it looks to be clearing up
please use common sense - if the fields are drenched and we could risk damaging them, then do not play your game

Playoff Schedule

I've posted the schedule for the quarter-finals, which take place next Wednesday (August 16). For scheduling, teams have once again been divided into three tiers of eight based on the results of ladder play. The ranking going in to the playoffs is listed on the home page of the web site. This ranking will remain static through the playoffs, regardless of who wins and loses. Also, everyone continues to play ranking games, even if they lose.
The playoff format is set ahead of time -- we won't re-rank after each round. So the winner of the 1 vs. 8 game will play the winner of the 4 vs. 5 game, regardless of what else happens in that tier.
If you're interested in watching some competitive games, there should be some good matchups in the next three weeks. In particular, for the quarters, the games between the fourth and fifth seeded teams should be close (the tier 1 4/5 game between The Juice and Midgets UnderNeath Giants takes place on field 5 at 5:30).

there are two weeks left to summer ultimate - semis and finals (or ranking games)
so the last game of the summer league is Aug. 30 - keep in mind that there will be a end of season BBQ at the Elixir (with a bigger and better spread than normal) with an awards presentation
also, for those interested there will be another fall hat league going on... details to follow
