Disc Golf Tournament

For anyone interested, there is a Disc Golf tournament being run by The Duke on Sunday Aug. 30th. Here are the details:
1) Teams of 4 ($20.00/person).
2) 9 holes (i.e. trees or benches) in the gorgeous Lake Ontario Park, tee off pads marked by spray paint and red plastic bands. (There will be a brief distance & accuracy competition in the parking lot afterwards.)
3) Shotgun start (We should get 9 teams); meet in L.O.P. 12:30 pm start @ 1 pm, finish by 3 pm.
4) Go to Iron Duke where you will receive 1 excellent Steamwhistle Ultimate Frisbee disc (value $15.00), meal consisting of a Duke BBQ chicken sandwich w/ chipotle/lime mayo, corn-on-the-cob, and potato salad, and 1 pint of Steamwhistle pilsner.
5) We will be showing the Kingston Ultimate Finals and 3rd place game on the big screen.
6) Steamwhistle (as good as Labatt 50) will be discounted at domestic beer prices for the day.
7) There will be prizes galore, incl. a $250.00 Steamwhistle gift basket as the big prize.
8) Good times in an air-conditioned room to be had by all! (And still get home early enough to be in good shape for work the next day...)

Fall League Registration is now open. Click here to register and for more information. As the first game is Wednesday Sept. 2, registration will close Monday night.
