Due to the snow and ice on Nixon field, spring league will now start April 9 and run until May 14.

Spring League 2014

We will once again be running a spring hat league on Wednesday evenings from April 2 - May 7. Games will run from 6:00-7:30pm and 7:30-9pm at Nixon field (Queen's).
Registration will open early March and end March 26. The cost of the league will be $40/player.

Queen's sports field usage

Queen's University is applying to amend the current noise by-law for the sports fields at West Campus to allow them to make noise from 9am-Midnight (currently the noise by-law takes effect at 9pm).
Queen's have had a few noise by-law infractions and if they don't get this exemption they will effectively have to stop leagues from using the fields after 9pm. This means a much smaller pool of field time available for all leagues.
Queen's is asking for those that want to support their application to please attend the council meeting Tuesday.

Help Still Needed
Regional Tournament July 12/13

Kingston Ultimate in partnership with ODSA and Tourism Kingston are hosting the Ontario Ultimate Championships, which is a qualifying tournament for the Canadian Ultimate Nationals. The tournament is being held in Kingston on July 12th and 13th, and teams that qualify will go on to play in the national tournament being held in Waterloo in mid August.
We are looking for volunteers to help with field set up and take down, score keeping, setting up and maintaining field provisions and a host of other things. If you are interested in helping out, or for more details, please use the Contact link to send me an email.
We are setting up volunteer schedules in 4 hour blocks so even if you are only available to help for one 4 hour block, the help is greatly appreciated.
