Women needed
Summer League and 4v4

There are a few teams looking for more female matching players for the Co-Ed Summer League on Wednesday evenings.
We are also looking for more women to join the 4v4 Hat league on Monday evenings.
All skill levels are welcome.

Youth Programs

There are still a few spots open for our Youth programs, so we have extended the registration deadline. The league maximums still apply, so once they are reached you will be put on a wait list.

We are very excited to announce that for the first time KU will be running a Junior Competitive Open and a Junior Competitive Women’s team. Sessions will take place Thursdays June 1 - Aug. 3 from 5:30-7pm on Caton field and are aimed at those athletes looking to take their game to the next level. There will be 2-3 one day tournaments within Ontario so athletes get a chance to play against juniors from other cities.
We will also be running our regular youth programs on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm, May 30 - Aug. 1 at Caton Fields.
Minis (4-7 years old)
Minis is an introduction to ultimate and general sport movement for all children aged 4 to 7. Sessions are co-ed and take place on Caton's Field South. Every practice is split between 30 minutes of ultimate and 30 minutes of another sport (rugby or soccer). Children will learn how to throw, run, catch, and embrace the spirit of the game. We aim to have groups of 15 athletes for every 3 coaches to allow lots of individual focus and attention.
Youth (8-13 years old)
Athletes aged 8-13 will learn to throw, handle, cut, and play great defense. There is a high focus on individual skills and small sided games. Sessions are co-ed and take place on Caton's Field South. With a big emphasis on embracing the spirit of the game, each session features 40 minutes of learning and 20 minutes of play. We are looking to work with children across all skill levels and abilities. Everyone is welcome.
Junior (14-18 years old)
Our co-ed Junior program is for 14-18 year olds looking for more opportunities to play. In this league there is a greater focus on playing together and understanding how to work as a team. Sessions will take place on Caton's Field North. Each week will start with 30 minutes of learning and 30 minutes of structured game play.
We encourage Juniors that are keen to play and advance their ultimate skills, to join both the Junior League and the Competitive Team

Adult Summer Programs

Adult Co-Ed Summer League
This is a team based adult co-ed league with games taking place Wednesday evenings from May 24 - Aug. 30. The cost is $120.
You can register as a captain, or if your captain has already registered you can request your team during registration.
If you don't have a team, don't worry, you can register as an individual and a captain can recruit you to their team. We will do our best to find a spot for all individuals that register, but can't guarantee this. If we can't find you a spot, you will get a full refund.
Women's Summer 4v4 Hat League
Our goal is to build on last year's 4v4 women's summer hat league and we are aiming for 6 teams with 8 women per team.
The 4v4 game means you inevitably get far more touches with the disc, so it is great for those wanting to work on throws, cutting or just looking for a fun environment.
Games will be played at Caton Field on Mondays June 5 - July 10, 6-7:30pm. The cost of the league is $60

Callahan for Kids

We are excited to share that Callahan for Kids is back again this Spring to raise money for development projects overseas!

Rain Policy

When the weather is questionable please check the web site. I will post the official word by 4pm Wednesday to the web site, Facebook and Twitter. If you don't see a post by 4pm, then games are on as scheduled.
Please use common sense. If games are on and we get hit with a thunder storm, stop the game and use the Use the 30/30 rule: When lightning is observed, play stops and the time between the lightning and thunder is counted. When you count 30 seconds or fewer between lightning and thunder, leave the field and take the appropriate shelter IMMEDIATELY. Remain sheltered for 30 minutes after the last peal (or sound) of thunder.
Also, if the fields having standing water on them or are soggy and are likely to get damaged then stop the game.
