Goosebowl - Players Needed

There are two teams in need of extra players for Goosebowl this weekend. Both are in the recreation division.

Fall Indoor 4v4

It looks like we will be able to use the facilities at CFB for an indoor league. Unfortunately, the pricing at the CFB dome is quite a bit higher than what we are used to, so I've only booked one field and will be running 6 teams.
That said, if there is enough interest there is the potential to book another field and run 12 teams total.
Registration is now open through your league account. If you have a team wanting to play, and we have hit out capacity, please email joel@kingstonulti.ca. I will start a wait list and if we get enough teams to book a second field we'll up the league to 12 teams.
The league will run Friday evenings 7-8:30pm from Nov. 8 - Dec. 20. All games are at the CFB Kingston Sports Dome located at 11 Navy Way. There will be two 40 minute games each night with a short break between games.
Each team will need a minimum of 8 players (4 men / 4 women) with a maximum of 12 players. All games will be played with an even 2:2 gender ratio.
You can register as a captain, or if your captain has already registered you can select your team during registration (you do have to be approved by the team captain).

Fall Indoor League 2024

We are hoping to run a fall 4v4 indoor league at the military dome on Friday evenings Nov. 8 - Dec. 20. We have submitted an application for the fields but are waiting for approval. So, for now, keep your Friday evenings open and we will let you know if we are able to make this happen.

Rain Policy

When the weather is questionable please check the web site. I will post the official word by 4pm Wednesday to the web site, Facebook and Twitter. If you don't see a post by 4pm, then games are on as scheduled.
Please use common sense. If games are on and we get hit with a thunder storm, stop the game and use the Use the 30/30 rule: When lightning is observed, play stops and the time between the lightning and thunder is counted. When you count 30 seconds or fewer between lightning and thunder, leave the field and take the appropriate shelter IMMEDIATELY. Remain sheltered for 30 minutes after the last peal (or sound) of thunder.
Also, if the fields having standing water on them or are soggy and are likely to get damaged then stop the game.
